About the artist

Hello! My name is Florie Le Helley, I’m an illustrator and writer from Brittany (in France). I first studied archaeology and art history before realising that what I truly loved was creating. I changed my studies and got a bachelor of fine arts with a special interest around children and editorial illustration.

I am inspired by nature, nostalgia and fairy tales. In my drawings and stories I try to recreate the sense of comfort and magic I get from those imaginary worlds in my head.

I mostly draw digital art but also enjoy gouache, coloring pencils and collage from time to time. In my free time, I dabble in weaving, sewing and crochet.
